Hitting the Road with FCAL’s Transfer Team

The Four Corners Animal League transfer van hit the road again today, and we’re excited to welcome a new face behind the wheel. Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest chauffeur, Clay Huber.

Clay is now part of FCAL’s incredible team of drivers who help transport dogs and cats to shelters and rescue partners, primarily in Colorado, where adoption opportunities are far greater. His very first passengers? Eight cats. We’re wishing him a smooth ride, though we all know cats can be a bit particular about their accommodations. If anything is less than “purrfect,” they won’t hesitate to let him know.

A big thank you goes out to Barbara Agnello and her network of dedicated foster parents, who lovingly care for and prepare these animals for their journey. Their work behind the scenes makes each transfer possible and gives these pets the best chance at a new beginning.

And here’s a little sneak preview. The next transfer run is scheduled for March 30, weather permitting. Stay tuned for updates as these journeys continue, and as more animals get their shot at finding a forever home.
